Cabinet members must be exceptionally responsible and active in the club. They form the backbone of the club and are vital to the club's success. Terms of members are as long as they continue to aid the club. More than one person may occupy each role if needed; each person can take a specific part of the role and need not do every task. Positions can range from skill-based roles to management-based officers. The roles are displayed in order of importance and status. - Club Constitution

The cabinet found in MMC may vary drastically from those of traditional clubs. Cabinet roles are also not as distinct as you may well be doing many other tasks as well. Multiple members can hold the same role, as long as they actually do something; each can take up a specific part of the job and need not do all the tasks alone. You can be an officer and help manage the club or apply your skills in helping produce our videos. If you wish to apply for a position, please post in Applying for Cabinet Position.
Check the Cabinet Members Database for more details on each officer.

Official Roles of Cabinet
Below are the official cabinet roles as they appear in the Club Constitution. Positions are arranged in order of importance and status.
Officer Positions
- President: The president(s) will be responsible for leading and organizing the club and its activities (such as movie projects possibly as a director). The role also includes aiding other officers where/when needed and literally fills all other officer positions when needed.
- Vice President: The vice president's role is similar to that of the president in aiding other officers where/when needed. The VP will also lead his or her own projects in addition to those in the club (like directing his/her own movies). The VP is depicted more as a second, minor president rather than the VP in other clubs.
- Publicity: The officer of publicity is responsible for creating the club's presence at the school. The publicity officer's job includes but is not limited to: managing public events, creating fliers and/or banners for the club, creating newsletters, and encouraging people to join the club.
- Secretary: The job of secretary varies but primarily revolves around information and management. Possible jobs include but are not limited to: organizing meetings and events (calling people to remind of filmings...), posting updates on site, running errands (announcement forms, contacting people, etc), and/or researching video contests for the club.
- Treasurer: The treasurer will be responsible for counting and keeping track of the club money (if any). The treasurer must be present at all money-making events and be available to count afterwards. Records are kept in the MMC Treasury by the treasurer.
Skilled Positions
- Video Editor: The video editor holds a key role; he or she is responsible for managing the camera footage and the production of the final video.
- Scriptwriter: Scriptwriters are vital to the success of each film and project. They are responsible for creating and finishing scripts before deadlines and virtually writing the movie.
- Musician: The musician creates soundtracks and music for videos or projects. The musician must be capable of recording or producing the entire track on his or her own. Musicians may also be requested to create or help with sound and audio for projects.
- Webmaster: Manager of the MMC website; responsible for keeping the site updated and maintained. The entire site is developed solely by the webmaster.
- Photographer: Photographers must show up at most, if not all, meetings/filmings/events to take pictures. Multiple photographers are encouraged and welcome to get shots from various angles. Cameras are not provided; pictures should be digital and a minimum of 5MP.
